Vic Masters goal is to ensure all our players and families have access to all the information and support they need to help everyone achieve their best possible mental health. Vic Masters have created a Mental Health and Wellbeing Working Group called the “Tight Five” support crew. The Tight Five Mental Health and Wellbeing Working Group has been established and has three primary objectives.

1. To promote and support good mental health and wellbeing across Vic Masters Rugby.

2. Create a culture that facilitates early identification and encourages the seeking of early assistance.

3. Strengthen our mental health and wellbeing partnerships.

Headfirst was created to help Rugby players, coaches, support staff and families in the rugby community to support their own wellbeing and that of others.

Black Dog InsTITUTE

The Black Dog Institute is dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness. We are about creating a world where mental illness is treated with the same level of concern, immediacy and seriousness as physical illness; where scientists work to discover the causes of illness and new treatments, and where discoveries are immediately put into practice through health services, technology and community education.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.
